Up to 66 inches per second and .0056" resolution with Au57-40M, and 120 inches per second and .0011" resolution with Au60-45.  WS70-024 with 24 inches travel shown in picture.  Any travel length available, just select the travel from the drop-down menu above--price is the adder for your length.  Travel is end-to-end, giving you the most compact slider available.  Build any travel length up to 100 feet or more.

This is a complete kit, ready to run out of the box.  Normal loads are 0-5 lbs, and you may upgrade to larger motors for heavier loads of 5 to 10 lbs, such as our Au57-76M.  All Wire Sliders can carry up to 40 pounds without damage, but speed is limited as load increases.  Double the top speed by upgrading to Au60-45, Au60-86, Au86-65, or Au86-80.  Because these motors have only 400 half-steps per revolution, the resolution of the Slider is half of the Au57 series.  For extra light weight, use our Au35, Au39, or Au42 series motors and controllers.  These smaller motors are excellent low weight choices if you desire a Y-axis Wire Slider.

Extend your Excitron Wire Slider by ordering additional Slider Extensions of 53" (1.35m);.  Slider Extension rail includes, two precision locating pins, and longer stainless steel wire if ordered with a Wire Slider.  You may add as many extensions as you like, practical total length is 100 ft, but you can be creative.  You will likely want to mount to a table or support frame, especially at the joint.  If extensions are ordered after we ship your Wire Slider, than we need to charge a small amount for the wire: $20 for each 6ft extension.  Wire Sliders longer than 96" will be charged an additional $120 minimum (depends on your location) for shipping, unless you agree that we cut the slider in two pieces, then no extra charge is added.  We stock 106.3" (2.7m) continuous lengths of slider rail, which produces 100" (2.54m) of travel.  Shipping long lengths is an price issue, but if you prefer, we'll ship as one continuous rail section for additional money.

Maximum speed is obtained with our 24 volt power supply and by setting A=0150 to 0175, a=02, and V=12000.  You vary these settings by using a dumb serial port program, see download links in Serial port programs on left for choices, if you do not have one. Please refer to the Manual for how to setup and run your Au Controllercoder/motor, where you will find all answers.
